After the accident, the cargo plane belonging to Kyrgyzstan was towed to the parking area of the airport. The technical team from Turkey, Georgia and Kyrgyzstan conducted an investigation into the accident. Insurance companies detected damage to the aircraft. About a month after the crash, the Kyrgyz plane was brought into the country after the broken wing was repaired.

The plane, which was put up for sale at an approximate price of 400,000 lire, did not come out as a suitor.
The General Directorate of DHMI held a second tender for the sale of the aircraft. About 30 suitors applied for the tender held on February 22 for the scrapped plane. For the plane, which was tendered for an estimated value of 400,000 liras, the bidders deposited 50,000 liras as a temporary guarantee. As a result of the tender held in the Hall of the General Directorate of DHMI on February 22 at 2:30 p.m., the aircraft was sold for 1.5 million lira. After the completion of the tender process, it became known that the plane will be taken from Erzurum airport.
