Millions of EYT are waiting…

What happened to EYT, was it delayed?

Those who had insured before September 8, 1999 and completed the number of premium days will benefit from the EYT regulation. After the details of the EYT regulation became clear, the parliament was expected to approve the regulation soon, but the Kahramanmaraş earthquake caused the delay in the regulation of the retirement age.

THE APPLICATION OF “EYT ERTELENSIN” IN AKP

The measures to be taken after the earthquake were discussed at the AKP FMC meeting held during the week.

Some members of the VQA drew attention to the extensive damage caused by the earthquake and suggested that the EYT arrangement, which they claimed would be a great burden on the Treasury, be reviewed. In fact, one MYK member said: “Let’s postpone EYT regulation for a year.”

‘NOT GO BACK, JUST PASS’

President Erdoğan said that there will be no step back in the EYT regulation. Saying “We promised, there is no going back,” Erdogan demanded that the EYT regulation be enacted in its current form if the General Assembly of Turkey’s Grand National Assembly functions this week.

The Assembly will begin its work on Tuesday, February 21, after the earthquake. The EYT regulation is expected to be approved by Parliament on Tuesday or Wednesday.

2 MILLION 250 THOUSAND PEOPLE WILL RETIRE

With the enactment of the EYT regulation, 2 million 250 thousand people are expected to retire immediately and 4 million people will be eligible to retire upon completing their premium days within 3-4 years.

HOUSING CONDITIONS TO BE BUILT FOR EARTHQUAKE VICTIMS…

At the MYK meeting, the houses that will be built for the victims of the earthquake were reported.

Consequently, the houses that the State will build in the area of the earthquake will have a ground floor plus 3 floors. The size of the apartments is planned as 3+1 and 2+1.

A person whose house is destroyed will be offered 3+1 or two 2+1 floors. Those who accept two 2+1 offers will pay the difference.

The state will assume 60 percent of the 3+1 houses. Citizens will pay 40 percent of it. It was learned that the quotas were calculated with 24 months of grace and 20 years. For example, the state will commit 720,000 lira for a 3+1 flat, which is 1,200,000 lira, and the earthquake victim will pay 480,000 lira. It has been known that installment payments will be ‘fixed’.
