German Scheppach provided 1,368 generators to earthquake victims
The German company, which coordinated emergency aid to the victims of the earthquake with the General Consulate in Munich, sent 4 trucks to the disaster area from its warehouses in Germany, 12 diesel generators and 1,356 inverters, and 160 large electric heaters worth approximately 1 million euros.
Serdar Eraslan, Scheppach’s general manager, told Anadolu Agency (AA) that he considers helping earthquake victims in Turkey a “duty” because he is Turkish.
Eraslan affirmed that they support the earthquake victims in Turkey in terms of access to electricity and heat and said: “We must support the people, families and all the elderly who have lost all their belongings as much as we can.” saying.
Eraslan stated that they consider the needs of earthquake victims when they send generators to Turkey, saying, “In the inverter generators we send, sensitive products such as mobile phones and laptops can be charged with electric current. In order to help quickly, we send the sold products to Turkey for the approval of our customers.” he used the phrases.
Noting that Scheppach also helped people in trouble in Ukraine, Eraslan added that they would continue to help earthquake victims in Turkey. (AA)
