Emphasizing that each drug has its own QR code and that these drugs are registered with pharmacists, Saydan said:

We must not be held accountable for this looted and stolen medicine worth millions of liras whose whereabouts are unknown, and how we will compensate for this loss must be determined as soon as possible.

PHARMACIES WAIT FOR ADVANCE PAYMENT

Saydan stated that they don’t want something to which they have no rights, they want legal receivables from the state, and continued as follows:

“First of all, the invoices for the prescriptions for November-December 2022 and January 2023, which were delivered to the Social Security Institution to our colleagues in the disaster area, must be paid in advance so that they can continue to provide medicines. to our citizens by collecting them at their pharmacies. 851 pharmacies in Adana, 187 in Adıyaman, 478 in Diyarbakır, 657 in Gaziantep, 611 in Hatay, 348 in Kahramanmaraş, 51 in Kilis, 264 in Malatya, 207 in Osmaniye, 636 in Şanlıurfa pending payment in advance. This payment is not a grant, but invoices sent by our pharmacies to the institution. Currently, our regional pharmacies transport the remaining medicines from the demolished pharmacies and distribute them to citizens free of charge.” (AA)
