According to the bill submitted to the Grand National Assembly by AKP deputies, a new law will be enacted in line with the Constitutional Court’s warnings over cuts in budget support provided to municipalities and restrictions on indebtedness of municipalities. . companies. He specified that the new regulation, which was adapted to the decision of the Constitutional Court in line with the objections of the CHP, is positive in terms of income for all municipalities, including those that are under the management of the ruling party and the opposition, before the chose.

Under the proposal, special provincial administrations and their subsidiaries, companies with more than 50 percent ownership, municipalities and their subsidiaries, and companies will not be subject to certain borrowing restrictions.

With the proposal, until the end of 2025, the Real Estate Tax will not be collected on buildings, plots, land and homes in neighborhoods within the limits of 14 metropolitan municipalities, as well as buildings, plots and land for agricultural production. The Property Tax of commercial, industrial and tourist buildings will be applied with a 50% discount. In addition, the fee to be charged for drinking and service water will continue to apply until the end of 2025, as long as the minimum fee does not exceed 50 percent for workplaces and 25 percent for residences.

The regulation also modifies the Coastal Law, paving the way for the construction of open car parks and underground garages on the coasts.
