Parliament goes to tender for luxury vehicle

It has been said that the vehicles will be used for the heads of parliaments of foreign countries and their accompanying parliamentary delegations and diplomatic guests visiting Turkey’s Grand National Assembly. However, no valid bidders were found for the tender. The Assembly also went out to tender again, reducing the number of vehicles and the characteristics of luxury vehicles. Previously, it was requested that one of the vehicles be 200 horsepower, the other 150 horsepower, and 17 of them 120 horsepower. It is indicated that 8 minibuses will be rented.

Following the news brought to the agenda by SÖZCÜ on December 4, 2022, this tender was canceled “for lack of a valid bidder”. On this occasion, the Assembly again went out to tender by reducing the number of vehicles and the characteristics of the vehicles. He stopped leasing two 200 and 150 hp vehicles. He rented 18 cars with 120 horsepower. The number of minibuses, which was 8, was also reduced to 5.

Finally, the Grand National Assembly of Turkey went out to tender on March 8, 2021 and rented 69 vehicles to be used in official services between May 1, 2021 and December 31, 2023. A total of 35 million were paid. 507 thousand TL for the vehicles.
