AKP handed over the 2 billion dollar project with a special invitation

The AKP government awarded a large tender to a more specifically chosen contractor. In the bidding for the construction of the highway, where the General Directorate of Highways determined an approximate cost of 2 thousand 253 million 701 thousand TL, the “open” method, which allows competition, was not preferred.

The tender was carried out in the “21-b Negotiation” modality, which is considered to avoid the victimization of citizens, in emergency cases such as earthquakes, in the cases provided by law as an exception. With the opportunity provided by the exception clause, no announcement was made for the tender.

The tender entered the records of the Public Procurement Authority today. The tender, which was understood to be held on November 20, 2022, was announced to the public 40 days after the tender, after all processes and delivery of the contract and the site were completed.

The tender was held behind closed doors in the Tender Hall of the Program and Monitoring Department, Construction and Consulting Tender Branch of the General Directorate of Highways in Yücetepe, Ankara.

Six companies were invited to the tender. Asmin Taahhüt Yapı, who was specially invited, was handed over to Solis Yapı Joint Venture for 2.24 billion lira.
