Nebati said: “In the tax inspections carried out in 2022; We broke records in the number of taxpayers investigated, the number of reports issued, tax proposals and fines, and the number of criminal complaints filed for tax evasion, reaching the highest level in the history of the Republic in one year.”
Nebati said: “In the audits carried out by the Treasury Inspectors of our Ministry in 2022, we completed the tax audit of 77,610 taxpayers and prepared 207,958 reports,” Nebati said.
COMPLAINT OF THE TAX CRIME ON 23 THOUSAND 780 TAX LIABILITIES
Nebati said: “As a result of the investigations carried out, we have filed a criminal complaint against the relevant persons with the Public Ministry, by issuing 24,466 tax crime reports against 23,780 taxpayers for tax evasion crimes, mainly issuance and use of forged documents. ” :
“In the performance of tax inspection and audit functions, we will continue to fight against tax evasion and the financing of terrorism, protecting the rights of our State and taxpayers, as always, and preventing unfair competition due to loss and tax evasion.”
