Tax payments for flood-damaged taxpayers in Antalya have been postponed
The Ministry of Treasury and Finance announced that taxpayers operating in the flood-affected areas in Antalya’s Demre, Finike and Kumluca districts have postponed the deadlines for filing their declarations and notifications until the end of December, and the payment periods of the taxes to be accumulated in these declarations for one month.
In the statement made by the Ministry, it was indicated that “it aims to prevent possible complaints from taxpayers affected by the floods that occurred in the Demre, Finike and Kumluca districts of the Antalya province on December 12.”
In this context, the declaration and notification deadlines that taxpayers operating in said regions had to submit until the end of December, as well as the payment deadlines for the taxes to be accrued for said declarations, have been postponed by 1 month.
