Among the 27 member countries of the Union, the largest number of new cars were put on the road in Germany in July. During this period, 243,277 new cars were registered in Germany, 128,946 in France, 119,146 in Italy and 81,205 in Spain.

According to the manufacturers, the VW Group sold the most new cars in the EU in July with 233,184.

The Stellantis Group followed the VW Group in new vehicle sales in the EU. The Stellantis Group, which includes brands such as Peugeot, Fiat, Citroen and Opel, sold 144,227 cars.
