‘Perfect hiding place’: Australian researcher claims to have found MH370

More than a decade ago, Malaysia Airlines Flight MH370, with 239 people on board, vanished from radar screens en route from Kuala Lumpur to Beijing. Since then, researchers and aviation experts have been trying to solve one of the greatest mysteries in aviation history. Now, an Australian scientist claims to have found the plane’s whereabouts.

MH370 disappeared on March 8, 2014, triggering one of the most expensive and extensive searches in aviation history, which lasted for several years.

Debris from MH370 has been found on various coasts of the Indian Ocean, including Reunion Islands, Mauritius, Madagascar and Tanzania.

The recovered MH370 black boxes could provide important clues about what really happened on the final flight.
