Explosion on the border between the United States and Canada
The vehicle traveling from Canada to the United States exploded on the Rainbow Bridge over the Niagara River.
Authorities at the border crossing closed the Rainbow Bridge crossing and three other crossings connecting the Canadian province of Ontario to the US state of New York as a precaution after the vehicle crossing the bridge exploded. All local government offices in the area were also evacuated and closed.

While the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) announced that the investigation was continuing, the American press announced that two people traveling in the vehicle with explosives were killed and a border officer was injured.
“THE SITUATION IS SERIOUS”
US President Joe Biden and Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau were reported to have been briefed about the explosion.
In its first statement about the explosion, the Canadian government stated that the situation was “very serious.”
While contacts between the two countries continue, Canada has increased security on its borders.
POSSIBILITY OF “TERRORISM ATTACK”
Fox News shared the possibility that the explosion could be a terrorist attack. The American channel stated that this possibility was mentioned by an official whose name it did not share.
