Gabriela, who at the time was 17 years old and having fun with her group of friends, became angry when she thought that Eleni had taken her 20-year-old lover away from her.

It all started when those involved went drinking at Pefkohori in Halkidiki and after drinking alcohol, the victim left with her 20-year-old boyfriend.

The young woman, who poured the alcohol she bought at the entrance to Eleni’s house and then set it on fire with a lighter, told of her experiences. “I was jealous, I felt betrayed,” she said.

They didn’t open the door for me when I first got home. “She was not shouting so as not to disturb the neighbors, but she was banging on the door and the shutters,” she said.

Speaking to Greek media, Gabriela said: “I accept my crime, I did not do anything small. “I am willing to accept any punishment I receive,” she said.
