The images of the former Foreign Affairs official caused a stir on social networks.
Former Foreign Affairs employee Seldowitz’s harassment of a street vendor in New York became a trend on social media.
In the video shared on social media platform X, Seldowitz is seen harassing the person selling food on the street with the words “you are a terrorist.”
In the video, Seldowitz, who continued to verbally mock the salesman despite repeatedly asking him to get away from him, claiming he was working, said, “You know what? “We killed 4,000 Palestinian children, this was not enough, this was not enough.”
In a different video shared by another user, he was seen using provocative, even insulting, statements towards Muhammad and the Holy Quran.
After it was revealed that Seldowitz was working for an organization called Gotham Government Relations, the organization in question made a statement on their X account and announced that they had ended their entire relationship with Seldowitz.
The post used Seldowitz’s statement: “His actions seen in the video are despicable, racist and do not respect the standards we apply at our company.”
Social media posts noted that Seldowitz served as deputy director and senior political official in the US State Department’s Bureau of Israeli and Palestinian Affairs from 1999 to 2003. (BRITISH AUTOMOBILE CLUB)
