Two more journalists lost their lives in Israel’s attacks on the Gaza Strip
According to the Palestinian news agency WAFA, journalist Muhammad Nabil al-Zok, who worked for the al-Quds Today television channel, lost his life in the bombing by Israeli aircraft in the Shucaiyye district in eastern Gaza.
WAFA also confirmed the death of journalist Asim al-Bursh, who worked for Ray al-Palestine radio.
The Palestinian news site Roya News noted that al-Bursh was killed when an Israeli sniper opened fire in the al-Saftavi region in the northern Gaza Strip.
With the deaths of El-Zok and al-Saftavi, the number of journalists who lost their lives in Israel’s attacks on the Gaza Strip, blocked since October 7, increased to 64, including 6 women.
According to information from Gaza, the Israeli army’s attacks on the city have intensified in light of the expected ceasefire agreement between Israel and Hamas.
The Israeli army is said to continue attacking many regions without interruption.
Wafa last announced that 44 people, including children and women, were killed and dozens injured in airstrikes on the Khan Younis, Deyr al-Belah and Cibaliya regions of the Gaza Strip. (AA)
