Israeli minister: the solution is the migration of Palestinians

Israel’s far-right Finance Minister Bezalel Smotrich said voluntary migration of Palestinians in Gaza to other countries is the “correct humanitarian solution.”

Smotrich posted a written statement on the social media platform “We welcome the initiative to voluntarily evacuate Gazans to countries around the world, adding that this is the result of 75 years of refugees and poverty, and is the appropriate humanitarian solution for Gaza and its residents following the dangers.”

Claim that the majority of Gaza residents are the fourth and fifth generation of refugees from 1948, that these people are “hostages” in poverty and overcrowding in Gaza, and that they are a symbol of the desire to destroy the State of Israel and returning refugees to cities like Jaffa and Haifa, the Israeli minister said: “Gaza residents claimed that ‘this is the reason for the intense hatred they grew and learned against the State of Israel and the Jews.’

Stating that “These lands, which have a small area like the Gaza Strip and have no natural resources or independent livelihood opportunities, have no chance of existing independently economically and politically for a long time,” Smotrich said:

“Therefore, the acceptance of refugees by the countries of the world that truly care about them, with the generous financial support and assistance of the international community, including the State of Israel, is the only solution that will end to the refugee problem and suffering. of Jews and Arabs.”

The Israeli Minister also shared: “The State of Israel will no longer commit to an independent entity in Gaza, which, as we have said before, is inherently based on hatred of Israel and the desire to destroy it.” (AA)
