Those who saw him couldn’t believe it: he took a photo with whoever took him hostage

An EgyptAir plane flying to Cairo, the capital of Egypt, was taken hostage by a terrorist named Seif Eldin Mustafa. Mustafa, who landed the plane in Cyprus by threatening to blow it up, freed all but seven of the 55 passengers.

But after that things got even more interesting. Ben Innes, 26, who was among the four remaining crew members and three passengers, went to Mustafa and asked for a “souvenir photo.” Surprisingly, the terrorist also accepted this offer.

It was later revealed that the bulletproof vest worn by Mustafa, who was arrested, was fake.

One of the crew members also took a “souvenir photo” with the person who hijacked the plane…

“I HAVE NOTHING TO LOSE”

However, Innes didn’t know this and when asked why he wanted to take a photo with Mustafa, he said he was trying to remain optimistic in the face of a possible crisis.

He believed it would make a good photo if he survived, and if he didn’t, he had nothing to lose anyway, UniLad reported.

Speaking to the Sun after the incident, the man said: “I let my guard down while trying to stay cheerful in the face of difficulties. “I figured if the bomb was real, I had nothing to lose anyway, so I wanted to take a closer look at it.”

“I assigned one of the cabin crew members to translate for me and asked if I could take a photo with him. She agreed, so I stood next to her and smiled at the camera while the flight attendant filmed. “The best photo ever created.” saying.
