Scandalous words from the Israeli name: we are dealing with animals
Mazuz, one of Israel’s leading figures, reacted to humanitarian aid to Gaza in his weekly conversation at a Jewish religious school he founded.
Mazuz opposed US President Joe Biden’s call to deliver humanitarian aid to Gaza and argued that Israel should reject the US request.
The Jewish cleric said: “We must say this to Biden: he is right, if we were dealing with people we would send humanitarian aid to Gaza, but we are dealing with animals. What are we going to do?” he said.
Mazuz also mocked the humanitarian crisis of the people of Gaza under the Israeli blockade and said:
“We were too dependent on the Arabs to provide humanitarian aid. Because they were poor and had nothing to eat, they needed electricity, they needed food and sweet potatoes. It turns out that they don’t need anything. “The only thing they want to do is harm Israel.”
Rabbi Mazuz had previously defended the massacre committed by Israeli terrorist Baruch Goldstein by opening fire on Muslims worshiping at the Ibrahim Mosque in the city of Hebron in 1994, stating that Goldstein “averted a very great danger” by committing this slaughter.
Known for his fanatical opinions, Rabbi Meir Mazuz, 78, is considered the spiritual leader of the ultra-religious Shas Party, founded by Sephardic Jews.
Shas, which has been part of most ruling coalitions in Israel since 1984, is a partner in the coalition government led by Benjamin Netanyahu and is currently the country’s fourth largest party with 11 deputies in the Israeli Parliament.
The Israeli Defense Minister had previously made a similar comment. Comparing Palestinians to “animals,” Israeli Defense Minister Yoav Gallant said: “We are fighting humanoid animals and we will act accordingly.” he said. (AA)
