Gaza death toll surpasses 11,000
The Ministry of Health in Gaza announced that the death toll in Israeli attacks increased by 266 in the last 24 hours, reaching 11,078.
It was recorded that 4,506 of the dead were children and 3,027 were women.
Ashraf al-Qudra, spokesman for the Palestinian Health Ministry in Gaza, reported at a press conference on the loss of life and the extent of the humanitarian crisis due to Israel’s attacks on Gaza since October 7. Stating that the number of injured in Gaza has risen to 27,490, Kudra stated that they received reports of the disappearance of some 2,700 people, including 1,500 children, who were trapped under the rubble.
Kudra said that the Israeli army attacked the Åžifa hospital campus 5 times in a row and noted that Israel continued its attacks around the hospital.
The spokesperson for the Ministry of Health in Gaza stated that the Israeli army surrounded the Nasr and Rantisi children’s hospitals, directly targeting and endangering the lives of thousands of people, including health workers, displaced civilians and patients. (AA)
