The Israeli army announced the number of soldiers killed.
Israeli army spokesman Daniel Hagari spoke about the ongoing war with Hamas in Gaza at a press conference.
“NO to ceasefire”
Hagari rejected reports that “humanitarian intervention in the Gaza Strip conflict is imminent” and stated that there will be no ceasefire.
“HAMAS LOST CONTROL IN THE NORTH”
Hagari said Hamas’ military wing, the Izeddin al-Qassam Brigades, had lost control in northern Gaza.
239 POWERS
Making a statement about captives in Gaza, Hagari noted that the number of captives held by Palestinian groups is 239.
Hagari claimed that 351 Israeli soldiers have been killed since October 7.
In a previous statement from the army, it was announced that 34 of these soldiers were killed in clashes with Palestinian groups during “ground activities” in the Gaza Strip. (AA)
