Netanyahu’s predecessor, Prime Minister Olmert, criticized his successor in harsh terms.
Ehud Olmert, one of Israel’s former prime ministers, also responded to Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, who systematically attacked Palestine without discrimination against civilians after Hamas’s armed wing, the Qassam Brigades, attacked Israel on 7 October.
Olmert, who was prime minister from 2006 to 2009, said Netanyahu, who became prime minister after him, was suffering a “nervous breakdown.” Olmert said: “He is in a state of nervous breakdown after the security breach on October 7. “Every minute that Netanyahu remains prime minister represents a threat to Israel,” he said.
“THAT NULL LORD”
Speaking to Politico, Olmert said: “Netanyahu was emotionally destroyed by the national security vulnerability caused by miscalculations. Our priority is to end this war and return to negotiations on the formation of a Palestinian state. Netanyahu was crushed. He’s emotionally devastated, that’s for sure. Then something very bad happened to him. Bibi has worked his entire life under the lie that he is Mr. Security. But actually he is Mr. Bullshit,” he said.
Olmert said: “Every minute he is Prime Minister is a danger to Israel. I’m serious. “I’m sure Americans understand that he’s in a bad situation,” he said.
After Netanyahu, who served as prime minister between 1196 and 1999, Ehud Barak, Shimon Peres and Ehud Olmert held this position. After Olmert, Netanyahu became prime minister again.
