Turkish father alarms at Hamburg airport… He took his daughter hostage

Since last night, hours of tension have passed at the Helmut Schmidt international airport in Hamburg (Germany).

A 35-year-old Turkish man, who had a dispute with his wife over the custody of their son, kidnapped his 4-year-old daughter. The Turk, who removed the license plate from his car and quickly ran to the airport with his daughter, stopped next to the Turkish Airlines plane that was picking up his passenger to go to Turkey at exactly 8:12 p.m.

The German newspaper Bild and other media outlets publish the incident in the first headlines.

HE OPENED FIRE, THROWN A MOLOTOV

The Turkish father, who opened fire and threw Molotov cocktails left and right to prevent the police from approaching, has so far not surrendered despite warnings from the police. Firefighters immediately extinguished the small fires.

The car driven by Turk was also doused with water in case of a possible fire. Although precautions were taken around the vehicle of the father who was holding his daughter hostage and had flammable materials and a gun in his hand, special police teams have not been able to carry out any operations so far.

German police reported that the situation was still delicate early in the morning.

Due to the incident, the airport was closed and all flights after 8:24 p.m. were cancelled. It has been announced that 3,200 people’s flights have been canceled so far. The number of canceled flights was announced at 27.

SHE WANTS TO TAKE HER DAUGHTER TO Türkiye

It is claimed that the Turk, who kidnapped his daughter, whose custody is believed to be in the hands of her mother, wants to take her to Turkey.

It was learned that shortly after the Turkish father kidnapped his daughter and broke into the airport, the Turkish mother called the police and reported the situation.
