Refah border gate opens to receive the injured
According to Reuters, the Rafah border gate, which is under Egyptian control, will open tomorrow for the treatment of wounded in Gaza, where bombs were falling under Israel’s blockade.
The international news agency announced that the news was confirmed by both Egyptian and Palestinian officials.
According to the statement of Palestinian officials, 81 seriously injured people will cross the border gate into Egypt tomorrow for treatment.
HUMANITARIAN AID IS DELIVERED ACROSS THE BORDER
Trucks carrying humanitarian aid arriving at Egypt’s Arish airport from various countries for delivery to Gaza are first inspected at the Rafah border gate, and are then also checked by Israel at the Al-Uce (Nitzana) border gate between Egypt and Israel.
The aid then heads back to the Rafah border gate to enter the Gaza Strip.
