Palestinian activists protest with a mouse at a McDonald’s branch

As Israel’s systematic violence against the Palestinian people, who have been under blockade for years, continues following the attack by the Qassam Brigades, the armed wing of Hamas, on October 7, a notable action took place today in England…

Some human rights activists and Palestinian support groups in the city of Birmingham, located in central England, attacked a McDonald’s branch in the city. The protesters opened the door of the restaurant and released hundreds of mice, painted in the colors of the Palestinian flag, into the restaurant.

Mice painted red, black and green were used in the action.

Rats running towards customers inside caused great panic. Restaurant staff and customers were terrified at the sight of the mice dressed in red, black, green and white. Activists chanted slogans such as “Free Palestine” and “Boycott Israel.”

At the end of the video shared on social media, the activist says: “Boycott McDonald’s, Starbucks and Disney. They support Israel. “Boycott these brands that directly support Israel,” he said.

After the incident, the manager of the McDonald’s branch made a statement and said that the store was cleaned and cleared of mice.
