The protesters, carrying banners reading “There is genocide in Gaza”, “End the occupation”, “Ceasefire now” and chanting “Freedom for Palestine” slogans, then marched from Marble Arch to the Prime Minister.
Participants in the march, which took place under extensive security measures by the police, also reacted to the British government’s support for Israel.
Pro-Palestinian protesters also protested against the British government, which they accused of complicity in war crimes committed by Israel.
On the other hand, British Home Secretary Suella Braverman’s October 11 statement that “flying the Palestinian flag may not be legal” in some cases in the country could not stop protesters from taking part in the march with thousands. of Palestinian flags.
Following the march, speeches will be given on the platform established in Downing Street, where the Prime Minister’s Office, number 10, is located.
