“Scandalous” mistake in Belgium: Minister of Justice resigns
The Belgian Minister of Justice, Vincent van Quickenborne, held a press conference on the latest status of the investigation into the armed attack that resulted in the death of two Swedes on October 16.

Van Quickenborne stated that he took responsibility for the incident, which he described as a mistake with dramatic consequences, and stated that he had submitted his resignation to Prime Minister Alexander de Croo.
De Croo also announced that he had accepted the resignation.
