Plane evacuated due to bomb threat
According to the Argentine press, after the bomb threat at the Jorge Newbery Airport, the passengers of the plane were evacuated, while 4 planes ready to take off were removed from the runway.
THREATENING MESSAGES WERE SENT
The authorities stated that the threatening messages were sent to the company Argentina 2000 and that police and explosives disposal experts were searching the area.
Speaking to the local press, one of the passengers said: “They evacuated us all, we left the area and we are waiting for news. “The airport is being controlled, according to officials, we had to wait at least 2 hours,” he said.
It was reported that on October 18, an 18-year-old man was also arrested, who had allegedly “threatened with a bomb attack” against the Israeli and US embassies in the country. (AA)
