Half of the American population does not support sending weapons to Israel
In the survey conducted by CBS News from October 16 to 19, participants were asked questions about US President Joe Biden’s attitude towards the Israeli-Palestinian conflict.
While 57 percent of participants supported the United States providing aid to Palestinians in Gaza, 56 percent said they were dissatisfied with Biden’s policy toward the Israeli-Palestinian conflict.
“USARS ARE CONCERNED ABOUT TERRORIST ACTIVITIES”
While 85 percent of participants were concerned about the risk of the conflict spreading to the Middle East, 79 percent expressed concern about the possibility of terrorist activities in the United States.
While 52 percent of participants reported that the US administration opposed sending weapons and equipment to Israel, 24 percent of participants argued that Biden gave too much support to Israel.
In his State of the Union address last night, US President Biden announced that he would ask Congress for an urgent budget to support his partners, including Ukraine and Israel. (AA)
