Putin’s visit to troops on the border with Ukraine
Russian President Vladimir Putin visited the Russian army headquarters in the Rostov region, near the border with Ukraine.
According to the Kremlin statement, Putin arrived at midnight at the headquarters of the Russian Armed Forces in the city of Rostov-on-Don upon his return from Perm.
Putin, who received at headquarters a report from the Chief of the General Staff, Valeriy Gerasimov, on the latest situation regarding the “special military operation” in Ukraine, also held a meeting with other officials of the Ministry of Defense.

On the other hand, US President Joe Biden spoke by phone with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskiy.
According to the White House statement, Biden discussed the ongoing war between Russia and Ukraine in his phone call with his Ukrainian counterpart.
Biden emphasized that strong support will remain for Zelenskiy to defend Ukraine’s sovereignty, territorial integrity and democratic future against Russia’s “aggressive war.” (AA)
