The written statement from the Israeli Ministry of Defense states that the first shipment of armored jeeps sent within the framework of the military aid package assigned by Washington to Tel Aviv was received.

The statement stated that American jeeps were delivered to the Israeli army to replace vehicles damaged in the war, and noted that this was “part of large-scale agreements to increase the Israeli army’s fleet of vehicles for various war scenarios.”

It was reported that so far the Ministry has signed orders for the purchase of vehicles and heavy equipment worth more than 400 million shekels in Israel and abroad.

Israel announced days ago that it was receiving military aid from the United States.

In the clashes that began between the Israeli army and Hezbollah on the Lebanese border on October 8, 12 members of Hezbollah, 2 members of Islamic Jihad and 3 civilians, one of whom was a journalist, lost their lives.
