Thousands of Afghan immigrants in Pakistan returned to their country
Following the decision that foreigners living illegally in Pakistan voluntarily leave the country until November 1, more than 48,000 Afghan citizens returned to their country.
According to Radio Pakistan news, Afghan families who are illegally in Pakistan continue their journey from various cities in the country to the border regions without facing arrests or other consequences.
The authorities announced that 3,076 Afghans left Pakistan in the last 24 hours and so far 48,508 Afghan citizens have returned to their country.
Sarfaraz Bugti, Home Minister of Pakistan’s interim government, stated in his statement on October 4 that foreigners living in the country illegally had until November 1 to leave Pakistan voluntarily, and that all foreigners who fell within this scope after this date will be deported….
