Sunak met with Israeli President Isaac Herzog and Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu. Sunak said they support Israel and they support Israel. Sunak said: “London supports Israel’s right to self-defence. But at the same time, humanitarian aid must be allowed to be sent to Gaza. Palestinians are victims of Hamas’ actions. “We should continue sending them humanitarian aid,” he said.

In his meeting with Netanyahu, Sunak said: “Britain will stand by Israel in its darkest hour. “We are with her people and we also want them to win,” he said.

NETANYAHU: THE WAR WILL LAST LONG

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu also made notable statements. Netanyahu explained the purpose of the attack carried out by Hamas on October 7. While Netanyahu said this war could last a long time, he said, “We need your continued support.” Netanyahu said: “This attack was aimed at preventing the expansion of peaceful relations in the Middle East.”

“We were about to extend this peace and destroying it was one of the reasons for this action,” Netanyahu told Sunak. Recently, Israel has taken normalization steps with some countries in the region, especially Turkey, Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates.

Israel began strengthening its relations with Turkey since the beginning of this year, and both countries appointed ambassadors to each other this year.
