Putin’s statement on Gaza: a terrible disaster

Russian President Vladimir Putin stated that the attack on the hospital in Gaza should be a signal to start negotiations between the parties, saying: “A tragedy, a terrible event and a disaster. “Hundreds of people were injured and hundreds died in a humanitarian location,” he said.

As part of his visit to China, Putin answered questions from members of the press about Israel’s attack on Al-Ahly Baptist Hospital in Gaza and Ukraine. Emphasizing that they support the establishment of an independent Palestinian state, Putin said: “We have a principled stance and it has nothing to do with the current crisis. “We have always been in favor of the establishment of an independent and sovereign Palestinian state with East Jerusalem as its capital,” he said.

On the other hand, Iranian President Ibrahim Reisi stated that the perpetrators and supporters of the attack on an Israeli hospital in the Gaza Strip, which caused the death of more than 500 Palestinians, must be brought to justice.

Reisi said: “Conviction alone is not enough in this terrible crime. The war machine of the Zionist regime must be stopped as soon as possible. “To guarantee human life and the law, the perpetrators and supporters of this crime must be brought to justice,” he said. Emphasizing that the food and water embargo imposed by Israel must be lifted immediately to avoid a humanitarian tragedy in Gaza, Reisi called on free people in the world to do their duty. (AA)
