Palestine statement on ‘hospital massacre’: Israel is implementing its deportation plan

The Palestinian Foreign Ministry claimed that Israel was trying to evade responsibility for the hospital massacre in the Gaza Strip in order to continue the war without being under international pressure.

The ministry’s written statement stated that international double standards gave Israel “the right to reject requests to stop its attacks on the Gaza Strip or to open corridors for the entry of humanitarian aid.” The statement noted that the double standards in question also stripped international law of any immunity and made it dependent on the decisions of the Israeli government, noting the following:

“Israel is trying to evade responsibility for the brutal massacre it committed at the Al-Ahli Baptist Hospital in Gaza City in order to continue the war in the Gaza Strip without being exposed to international pressure. “Therefore, it intends to continue its efforts to implement its strategic plan to destroy the Gaza Strip and deport its people.”

Egyptian President Abdel Fattah al-Sisi said: “What is happening in Gaza right now is an attempt to force civilians to migrate to Egypt. “We reject the expulsion of the Palestinians from their land,” he said.

Sisi made statements about the Palestinian-Israeli conflict at the joint press conference held after his bilateral meetings with German Chancellor Olaf Scholz, who was in the capital Cairo as part of his official contacts.

Noting that his country rejects the liquidation of the Palestinian cause by military methods, Sisi said: “What is happening now in Gaza is an attempt to force civilians to migrate to Egypt. We reject the expulsion of Palestinians from their land. We do not want the Sinai Peninsula to become a terrorist base against Israel. “Millions of Egyptians are ready to demonstrate against the idea of ​​displacing the Palestinian people,” he said. (AA)
