Grieving father whose son died in his arms during the Second Intifada speaks out

Cemal Durra, the father of 11-year-old Muhammed Durra, murdered before the eyes of the world during the Second Intifada that broke out against Israel in the occupied Palestinian territories in 2000, said he experienced the same pain. again and that the scene in which Muhammad was killed has been repeated for 23 years.

Durra, who lost her son Mohammed in her arms during the Second Intifada, claimed that Israel is now bombing her brothers’ homes, killing her two brothers, her brother’s wife, her only daughter, as well as dozens of neighbors, most of whom are children.

Emphasizing that the occupation forces deliberately killed children, Durra said: “They kill children every day. The scene in which Muhammad is killed has been repeated for 23 years. Every murdered child is Muhammed Durra. “Muhammad’s blood continues to flow,” he said.

Durra claimed that Israel could not stand up to the Palestinian resistance forces and claimed that Israel massacred civilians with Western weapons.

THOUSANDS OF PEOPLE DIED IN 10 DAYS

Hamas’s armed wing, the Izz al-Din al-Qassam Brigades, launched a comprehensive attack against Israel on the morning of October 7, called the “Aqsa Flood.”

As thousands of rockets were fired from Gaza into Israel, Palestinian armed groups attacked and seized the Beit Hanun-Erez border gate on the Gaza-Israel border.

Armed groups then entered settlements inside Israel from here and the Israeli army launched an attack on the Gaza Strip with dozens of fighter jets.

It was reported that 1,300 Israelis were killed and 3,436 Israelis were injured in the attacks carried out from Gaza.

The Palestinian Health Ministry announced that 2,670 people were killed and 9,600 injured in Gaza in Israel’s attacks.

It was claimed that 56 Palestinians were killed and 619 people were injured in attacks by Israeli forces and Jewish settlers in the occupied West Bank.

In Israel’s attacks, nine journalists in Gaza and 1 journalist in Lebanon lost their lives. (AA)
