Hamas, which sparked a major war by launching a surprise attack on Israel on October 7, shared the video of a kidnapped 21-year-old girl named Maya Shem.
Video of a 21-year-old woman who attended Hamas’ Nova Festival, which took place in a region near the Gaza border, and was captured and kidnapped during the raid there, was shared on Hamas’ official Telegram account. Looking directly into the camera and speaking in Hebrew, the young woman said: “I want you to get me out of here as soon as possible. “Please,” she said.
The young woman said she was injured.
The young woman also said that her captors took good care of her.
It was learned that Shem had a three-hour surgery in Gaza.
Shem said: “I am Maya Shem of Shoham. I’m in Gaza right now. I was at a party and suffered a very serious injury to my hand. They performed a surgery that lasted 3 hours in Gaza. They are looking at me now and everything is fine. I just want you to take me home to my family as soon as possible. Get me out of here. “Please,” she said.
Shem called the authorities and said, “Get me out of here as soon as possible.”
On the other hand, Shem’s mother, Keren Shem, also made a statement.
Shem’s mother lashed out at Israeli officials.
Shem said: “I called his phone for hours, it rang constantly but no one answered. I ask the authorities to give me an explanation. “No one contacted me,” she said, lashing out at Israeli officials.
