War preparations in Lebanon… ‘They sent the planes to Istanbul’

Tension is rising rapidly in Lebanon, which is at the center of discussions about the “new front” in the war between Palestine and Israel.

Israel has intensified its attacks against Lebanon on its northern border. The Israeli army attacked Hezbollah’s military points in Lebanon last night.

As mutual artillery fire continued in the region, Israel announced that nearly 20 settlements near the Lebanese border were evacuated due to the war.

While many countries warn their citizens in Lebanon with concerns that war could spread to this country, the government in Beirut is increasing measures against the possibility of war.

HE THREATENED TO HIT THE ISRAEL AIRPORT

Lebanese state airline Middle East Airlines (MEA) was reported to have sent some of its planes from Beirut International Airport to Istanbul. According to news based on radar logs from aviation websites, MEA sent 5 passenger planes to Istanbul as a precautionary measure due to ongoing conflicts with Israel.

Israel had attacked MEA aircraft several times in conflicts between the two countries in previous years. In 1968, Israel attacked Beirut airport in retaliation for the Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine’s attack on an Israeli airliner, and 12 MEA aircraft were destroyed.

According to the Arab press, Israel threatened to bomb Beirut airport last year, alleging that Iran was sending weapons to Hezbollah via civilian flights.
