Traffic mobster: Man killed in road rage, pointed gun at passers-by

The incident that took place in Portland, USA, was horrifying…

The moment when the driver “shot his father dead during the handover incident” and then pointed a gun at bystanders was on the agenda of social media platforms and international media organizations.

It was revealed that Ryan Martin, 47, was murdered in broad daylight by Geoffrey E. Hammond, who then threatened bystanders by pointing a gun at them.

Photos released show Ryan Martin, 47, lying on the ground next to Geoffrey E. Hammond’s Mercedes minutes after the shooting. The gunman allegedly continued shooting at people around him in broad daylight, while Martin, a father of four, lay dying next to the vehicle in Rose City in Portland, Oregon.

HIS LAST WORDS WERE “I’M SORRY”

During a road rage incident, Ryan, who was unarmed, allegedly exited his vehicle to confront Hammond, when the attacker suddenly pulled out a gun and shot the father. According to eyewitnesses, some of Ryan’s last words were “I’m sorry. “I had a bad day.”

The Washington father leaves behind his children Taylor, 27, Anna, 22, Emily, 20, and Drew, 17.

Hammond, who appeared before the judge, was charged with second-degree murder, attempted second-degree murder, two counts of unlawful use of a weapon and fourth-degree assault.

In her memorial message on Facebook, Taylor Martin said: “Dad, I cannot put into words the pain I felt when I heard the news of his death. You were an incredible man and father, the smartest and hardest working man I have ever met. You are my best friend and you will always be in my heart. “Your legacy will live on through me in everything I do.”

Bystander Samuel Gomez, 48, photographed Hammond, 46, pointing the gun at himself after he allegedly fatally wounded Ryan on Wednesday afternoon.

Gomez testified that he was shocked when the cannon suddenly turned toward him and said Hammond shot him in the leg. “I’m grateful to be alive,” Gomez said. “The situation could have been much worse,” he said. It was claimed that Gomez’s treatment continued while Hammond was detained.
