Azerbaijan President Aliyev warns Armenia

Azerbaijani President Aliyev gave a speech after raising the Azerbaijani flag in Khankendi, which the occupying Karabakh regime once considered the “capital.”

Aliyev stated that today is a historic day and the Azerbaijani flag is flying in the central square of Khankendi and congratulated the Azerbaijani people.

Recalling that the Azerbaijani people elected him president 20 years ago, Aliyev said: “At that time, I promised to protect the territorial integrity of Azerbaijan. I took the oath touching the Constitution and the Holy Quran. “I’m happy to have kept all the promises I made.” he said.

Saying that he, like all Azerbaijanis, thanked God for having these days, Aliyev noted that they have been waiting for this moment for more than 30 years.

President Aliyev stated that they strengthened the economy and the army to achieve their goals and raised a generation willing to sacrifice their lives for the motherland, emphasizing that they will never forget the martyrs.

“WE CREATE THIS STORY”

Recalling that they participated in the meaningless negotiation process for years because they were in favor of a peaceful solution to the Karabakh problem, Aliyev explained that the Second Karabakh War began because Armenia had no intention of returning the lands through peace.

Aliyev claimed that they defeated Armenia in the war three years ago and saved their lands from occupation, and then the Azerbaijani flag flew in Khankendi and said: “This is a great happiness and a historic event. Perhaps it would not be correct for me to talk about this date. Because we live this story, we create this story. The Azerbaijani people won a victory that will remain forever in our history. Future generations will always be proud of this victory.” he said.

“EVERYONE KNOWS IT, INCLUDING ARMENIA”

Recalling that the leaders of the occupying Karabakh regime are detained today in Baku, Aliyev said:

* Here, three clowns who call themselves ‘president’ await their punishment today. Can someone who calls himself ‘prime minister’ dare to threaten us today? His tea is also served today at the detention center. A separatist calling himself “foreign minister” sarcastically said: “If Azerbaijan wants to fly its flag in Khankendi, it should open an embassy in our country.” They also give him tea in the detention center.

*Our flag flies here. This should be a lesson to them. Unfortunately, they ignored the words I said 20 years ago and have repeated them many times since. They thought what I said were just words.

* But I did everything I said, everyone knows it, including Armenia. Don’t forget it. They should not forget the Second Karabakh War and the anti-terrorist operation. If any power in Armenia still thinks about revenge, they should take a good look at today’s images. (AA)
