EVACUATIONS CONTINUE FROM SDDREROT

Israeli authorities brought buses to a school in Sderot and transferred hundreds of Jewish settlers to hotels and homes in the center and north of the country. The number of Jewish settlers transported by buses is unknown. Israel asked journalists to film Jews leaving the region.

According to The Jerusalem Post, most of the region’s 30,000 people have already left their homes.

In the written statement made by Hamas’s armed wing, the Izzeddin al-Qassam Brigades, it was stated that Sderot was bombarded with rockets in response to Israel’s attacks on civilians.

Sderot, where dozens of rockets fell from the Gaza Strip, was the scene of intense clashes with the Israeli army following the infiltration operation by elements of the Qassam Brigades on October 7.

The mayor of Sderot, a border town with a population of approximately 31,000, Alon Davidi, in his statement on October 11, called on the Israeli government to evacuate all residents of the town in an organized manner due to the conflicts.

The Israeli government also decided to evacuate the area exposed to rocket attacks from Gaza.

“There WILL BE A WAR THAT WILL CHANGE THE SITUATION FOREVER”

Israeli Defense Minister Yoav Gallant inspected the blocked areas near the border with Gaza.

Gallant stated that the Israeli army will eliminate Hamas, adding that “they will reach all the tunnels in Gaza and will not have accomplished their mission unless they eliminate all members of the Palestinian groups.”

Referring to the war between Palestinian groups and the Israeli army, Gallant said: “It will be a powerful war, it will be a deadly war, it will be a decisive war and it will be a war that will change the situation forever.” he said.

HIZBOLLA FIRED ISRAELI TANKS

The Hezbollah Movement published a statement about the anti-tank guided missile attacks it has been carrying out against Israel through Lebanon since the morning.

The statement notes that two Israeli “Merkava” tanks located in the Hanita settlement on the Israeli border were attacked with anti-tank guided missiles, and that “some Israeli soldiers were killed and others were injured” in the incident.

The Hezbollah statement states that the attack in question was carried out against Lebanese journalist Issam Abdullah and two Lebanese civilians who were killed in the Israeli bombing.

ISRAEL-HAMAS CONFLICT

As thousands of rockets were fired from Gaza into Israel, Palestinian armed groups attacked and seized the Beit Hanun-Erez border gate on the Gaza-Israel border.

Armed groups then entered settlements inside Israel from here and the Israeli army launched an attack on the Gaza Strip with dozens of fighter jets.

It was reported that 1,300 Israelis were killed and 3,436 Israelis were injured in the attacks carried out from Gaza.

The Palestinian Ministry of Health announced that 2,329 people, including 724 children and 458 women, were killed and 9,042 injured in Gaza during the Israeli attacks.
