Large demonstration in support of Palestine in London
Thousands of people attended the demonstration in support of Palestine in London, the capital of England.
Protesters gathered outside the headquarters of the British public broadcaster BBC and chanted slogans in support of Palestine.
Police warned organizers not to display banners in support of Hamas, considered a “terrorist organisation” in the UK.
More than 1,000 police officers also participated in the demonstration.
Many people carried Palestinian flags at the demonstration organized under the leadership of the Palestinian Solidarity Campaign. Speaking to the press, protesters told the world that Israel committed a crime against humanity in Gaza.
As well as London, demonstrations in support of Palestine were also held in Manchester, Liverpool, Cambridge, Norwich and Coventry.
