Turks and Syrians who entered Germany illegally suffered an accident: 7 dead
The illegal entry of Turks and Syrians into Germany continues to increase. Last night, 23 Turkish and Syrian illegal immigrants who entered Germany in a closed minibus met with an accident while escaping from the police.
The fugitives, who were believed to have entered Germany from Austria, were followed by a police vehicle as they headed towards Munich on the Amfing section of the A94 motorway.
THEY TRIED TO ESCAPE FROM THE POLICE
The driver, who saw the police vehicle while driving, increased his speed to 200 kilometers per hour. The vehicle that was traveling at full speed overturned on a curve. Police officers, who were about 300 meters behind the scene, immediately came to help.
Following the investigation by police teams at the scene, it was determined that 7 people had died. One person was brought back to life thanks to the intensive efforts of the police. It was announced that the dead included a 6-year-old Turkish boy and that the other dead were Turks and Syrians.
POLICE ACCUSED OF ‘PERSECUTION’
The left-wing parties in the state of Bavaria said: “The police persecute people to death.” Although stating that “in a sense they are responsible for the death”, the state government denied these accusations. While it was stated that the police carried out routine checks and did not corner the vehicle or follow it at a distance, it was announced that the police prioritized helping the injured and did not question any fugitives.
On the other hand, the driver of the illegally loaded minibus was also arrested. Human traffickers will be tried for causing the death of 7 people.
