Ukraine: 11 of our citizens died in Israel
Spokesman of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Oleg Nikolenko made a statement to the press about the Ukrainian citizens who lost their lives in the Palestinian-Israeli conflict.
Nikolenko said: “The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine confirms that 11 Ukrainians died in Israel. “There is no news from 9 citizens.” he said.
Spokesman Nikolenko, in his post yesterday on his social media account, stated that more than 1,000 Ukrainian citizens requested help to leave Israel due to the cancellation of flights and noted that preparations were made for the first evacuation flight to Romania on October 14th.
Nikolenko stated that approximately 200 Ukrainians wanted to be evacuated from the Gaza Strip, but it was not possible to leave the region due to security concerns. (AA)
