He was planning a mass murder… He was imprisoned.

Police in the English region of Somerset went to the house shared by Reed Wischhusen, who works in a supermarket chain, and his father, after receiving a tip.

While searching the house, police found several weapons. Meanwhile, Wischhusen attempted suicide in the bathroom. While the suicide was prevented, Wischhusen ran towards the police. Wischhusen, who ignored police warnings, was shot in the leg.

Reed Wischhusen, who was not a police officer, had his uniform and bulletproof vest.

MASSACRE PLANS

Notes were found in Wischhusen’s home saying he would kill 10 people he believed had hurt him in the past. Among the notes were statements that the convicted man would attack two police buildings with bombs.

Wischhusen said he wrote these notes just for entertainment and had no intention of harming anyone. However, Reed Wischhusen created an arsenal of ammunition such as pistols, submachine guns, shotguns and grenades to plan the attacks he imagined.

During 10 days of hearings across the country, the court heard how Wischhusen was fascinated by a series of mass murders.

In delivering its verdict, the court decided that Wischhusen should be found guilty of possession of explosives and ammunition for the purpose of committing a massacre.

Wischhusen was arrested and sent to prison.
