Israeli Energy Minister Israel Katz said electricity, water and fuel will not be provided to Gaza until Israelis held hostage in the Gaza Strip return to their homes.

Israeli Minister: “Humanitarian aid to Gaza? “No electrical switches will be turned on, no water taps will be turned on and no fuel trucks will enter until the Israeli prisoners return home,” he said. Katz responded to international reactions that Israel resorted to collective punishment in Gaza, regardless of whether they were armed or civilians, as follows: “Humanitarian versus humanitarian. “No one should give us moral lessons,” he stated.

Hamas’s armed wing, the Izz ad-Din al-Qassam Brigades, launched a comprehensive attack against Israel on the morning of October 7, dubbed the “Aqsa Flood.” Armed groups then entered settlements inside Israel from here and the Israeli army launched an attack on the Gaza Strip with dozens of fighter jets.

It was also claimed that 29 Palestinians were killed and approximately 150 people were injured in attacks by Israeli forces and Jewish settlers in the West Bank.
The United Nations called on Israel to open a humanitarian aid corridor to Gaza and warned that conditions in the region “may be more serious than ever.” (AA)
