Hamas statement on bloody attack: “Defense operation”
Hamas, which shocked the world with its bloody attack on Israel, stated that “Operation Aqsa Flood, carried out in response to violations of the Israeli occupation in Palestine, was a defensive operation of the first degree.”
Husam Bedran, a member of Hamas’ Political Bureau, noted that Israeli bases and military centers were the target of the operation and rejected Israeli accusations that “Israeli civilians were killed.”
Meanwhile, the Gaza Ministry of Health announced that the death toll in the city due to Israeli attacks is approximately 1,200 and the injured are approaching 5,000. Deputy Minister of Health Dr. Yusuf EburriÅŸ noted that most of the dead and injured were children, women and the elderly.

ELECTRICAL ALERT IN ISRAEL
Benny Gantz, leader of the opposition National Unity Party, which agreed with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu to form an “emergency government,” said they will do everything possible to recover Israeli prisoners held by Hamas.
“Israel is the most powerful country in the region and its army is the strongest,” Gantz said, adding that this power will be felt in Gaza and, if necessary, in Lebanon, and will be seen by the entire world. Gantz’s statement was the first official statement made by Israel regarding captives held by Hamas.
The Israeli Ministry of Health announced that 3,268 wounded people have been transferred to hospitals since Saturday, October 7, when the Israeli-Palestinian conflict began. The number of Israelis killed was announced at 1,200.
‘WE DO NOT TREAT HURT PALESTINIANS’
Israeli Health Minister Moshe Arbel stated that wounded Palestinians who were captured while attacking Israel will not receive treatment.
Arbel stated that the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) or the Israel Prison Services should deal with the issue and that they, as the Ministry of Health, would provide the necessary assistance to these institutions, and requested urgent instructions from Netanyahu to resolve this situation. (AA)
