Immigrant alarm in Germany: here are the new decisions that also worry Turks

The government took steps to say “enough” to thousands of illegal immigrants arriving in Germany every day. Prime Minister Olaf Scholz, who was seriously injured in the last two state elections, held a summit on “urgent and code red” immigration last night in his office with his government partners, Greens co-chairman Robert Habeck and the leader of the Liberal Party, Christian Lindner. .

The bill, prepared by Interior Minister Faeser’s team in the summer and blocked by the Greens, will be toughened and implemented. The new regulations will prevent illegal immigration and make life easier for those who can enter business life.

NO ONE COMES FROM Türkiye

The deportation of people from Turkey, Serbia and Macedonia, countries considered safe, will be facilitated. Additional periods of detention will be imposed on them and they will be expelled from their places of stay, even at night. The new Immigration Law provides for a tightening in 12 different areas. The period to obtain a work permit is shortened. The decisions taken by Prime Minister Scholz and his two other associates, who knew they would lose power due to illegal immigrants, and which were to come into force in November, were shared with ARD TV.

The decisions are as follows;

– The time allowed for deportation will now be longer. Those who were not deported within 10 days could remain in the country. This period will be extended to 28 days.

– ‘Human trafficking-smuggling’ will be added to organized crime and the deportation of traffickers from the country will be facilitated.

– Police and security units will have more time to find the fugitives.

– Previously, only the residence of illegal immigrants or illegal immigrants could be registered. Now you can search for accommodations and all nearby places, all rooms.

– To identify fugitives, other people’s lockers can even be searched and their mobile phones confiscated.

– Deportation procedures can be carried out at night.

– The deportation process was previously notified to the interested party one month in advance. This obligation will be eliminated for police officers. There may be sudden deportations.

– There will be no sudden deportation only for families with children. They will be given time.

– Residence conditions will be tightened and the detention period of those awaiting deportation will be extended.

– It will be possible to detain those whose asylum applications take a long time and those who try to delay them.

– Asylum seekers living in a common place will receive less money.

FAST PERMIT FOR THOSE WHO HAVE THE OPPORTUNITY TO STAY

In addition to these difficulties, it will also bring convenience. Asylum seekers who find a job or have a profession will be able to start working sooner. To do this, it will be enough to stay in the country for 6 months. People who have the right to stay or are believed to have the right to stay will adapt quickly to the labor market. However, this will not be valid for asylum seekers from countries considered “safe countries”, such as Turkey.

There is no article on the transition from financial aid to in-kind aid, but this issue has been left for the meeting of Heads of Government of the States to be held in November. Most likely there will be restrictions there.

THAT SWEEP THE PARKS

Meanwhile, the top leadership of the SPD proposed employing illegal immigrants in various public services. Although the SPD claimed: “These can sweep parks and collect leaves”, this was supported by the state of Bavaria. The CSU party was pleased that the SPD could finally see it.
