Netanyahu: Civilians should leave Gaza
As tension between Israel and Palestine rises, Netanyahu made a critical statement.
Speaking after meeting with the security cabinet in Tel Aviv, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu noted that what happened had never been seen before in the country’s history and said, “we will vigorously avenge this dark day,” adding:
“We will reach all the points where Hamas is hiding. “I call on the people of Gaza to leave these places.”
“AN ENEMY THAT KIDNAPS OLDER PEOPLE, BOYS AND YOUNG GIRLS”
Netanyahu claimed that Hamas wants to kill everyone in Israel, saying: “This is an enemy that murders mothers, women and children in their homes and beds. “An enemy that kidnaps the elderly, boys and girls,” he said.
OPERATION AKSA FLOOD
The Izz al-Din al-Qassam Brigades, the military wing of the Palestinian Islamic Resistance Movement Hamas, announced that they launched a comprehensive attack against Israel called “Aqsa Flood” on the morning of October 7.
While thousands of rockets were fired from Gaza towards Israel, armed groups entered settlements in the region.
In response, the Israeli army announced that it had launched an attack on the Gaza Strip with dozens of fighter jets.
While many people lost their lives in mutual attacks, thousands were injured.
