Biden statement on Israel: Our support is like a rock

US President Joe Biden appeared before the cameras at the White House alongside Secretary of State Antony Blinken and made statements about the attacks against Israel.

Stating that they will continue to support Israel to provide it with the assistance it needs to defend itself, Biden said: “My administration’s support for Israel is strong and unwavering.”

Addressing parties to the conflict other than Israel and Palestine, without naming them, Biden said: “Let me say this more clearly; Now is not the time for any party hostile to Israel to take advantage of these attacks. “The world is watching,” he said.

Noting that contacts between the United States and Israel continue at the military, intelligence and diplomatic levels, Biden shared the information that his team is in contact with countries in the region such as Egypt, Turkey, Qatar and Saudi Arabia, as well as with their partners in Europe. and the Palestinian administration.

BIDEN-NETAHYAHU MEETING

US President Joe Biden also spoke by phone today with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.

According to the Israeli Prime Minister’s statement, Biden, who called Netanyahu by phone, said that the United States stands with Israel and supports Tel Aviv’s right to defend itself.

Netanyahu reportedly thanked Biden for his unconditional support and stated that “a strong and lasting operation that Israel eventually wins is essential.”

In the White House statement, Biden said: “The United States also warns against any party that is hostile to Israel and seeks to benefit from this situation.”
