Bloody Hamas attack: Israeli streets full of bodies
The “Aqsa Flood” operation launched against Israel this morning by the Qassam Brigades, the armed wing of the Hamas organization that controls the Gaza Strip, turned the streets into a bloodbath in Israeli cities near the border with Gaza.
Many Israelis, including elderly people, were killed in the streets in attacks by Hamas militants who entered the town of Siderot from Gaza.
While thousands of rockets were fired from Gaza towards Israel, Palestinian armed groups entered settlements in the region.
Israel reportedly clashed with the Palestinians at 7 points along the Gaza Strip border.
In the attacks, Palestinian groups captured many Israeli soldiers and some civilians and took them to the blockaded Gaza Strip.
The Israeli emergency aid service Red Star of David announced that the loss of life in the attacks reached 40.
It was stated on Channel 12 news that the number of injured people in Israel exceeded 750. Soroka Hospital in the town of Birussebi, near Gaza, announced that more than 60 seriously injured people were receiving treatment at the hospital.
ISRAEL IS IN SHOCK: HOW DID YOU NOT SEE THE INTELLIGENCE?
For Israel, which could not recover from the impact of the rocket fire, the infiltration of Palestinians across the border from Gaza created a new shock effect.
According to the BBC, Israeli government officials said they had launched a thorough investigation into how intelligence failed to detect Hamas’ large-scale, well-coordinated attacks.
NETANYAHU: WE ARE AT WAR
Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, who met with cabinet members and security authorities, said: “Our main objective is to eliminate hostile elements entering our lands and establish security and peace in the attacked settlements.”
Netanyahu: “We are in a war. In war it is necessary to act with common sense. “I call on all Israeli citizens to unite for our greatest goal, victory in the war,” he said.
FİLSİTİN: WE WARN THIS MANY TIMES
The Palestinian Foreign Ministry said in a statement: “We have repeatedly warned the Palestinian people about the consequences of not granting them their legitimate right to self-determination and the establishment of their state.”
Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas also said that the Palestinian people have the right to defend themselves from Israeli attacks.
The spokesman for the Qassam Brigades, Abu Ubeyde, called on all Palestinians to join the “Aqsa Flood operation” they launched against Israel.
